Basmati Fried Rice - The Indian Way

  • 3 cups basmati rice
  • 3 tbsps ghee
  • 2 1/2 tsps salt
  • 4 cups water

Directions:
    1. Wash the rice well
    2. Drain in a colander for 10 mins.
    3. Heat the ghee in a large pan
    4. Add the rice and stir fry until all the rice grains are coated with ghee
    5. Add salt, water and cook covered on low heat for about 20 mins.
    6. Serve hot with curry.
