Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Cream butter, oil and sugars.
3. Add egg and vanilla.
4. Sift together dry ingredients
5. add them slowly to the creamed mixture.
6. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
7. Flatten with the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar.
8. Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
9. Remove from cookie sheet and cool completely on racks.
10. Makes 18 cookies, (can very easily be doubled to make 3 dozen)
