Ingredients:
- 1 10-inch unbaked pastry shell
- 1 (1-lb.) pkg. - Light Brown Sugar (approx. 2 1/3 cups)
- 1/2 cup light cream
- 4 - eggs
- 1 1/4 sticks butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 teaspoon - vanilla
- 3/4 cup - shelled pecans

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Pour pecans into unbaked 10-inch pie shell. Distribute evenly.
3. Crean butter;
4. Add Imperial brown sugar and blend.
5. Add eggs, one at a time, blend thoroughly.
6. Add cream and vanilla.
7. Pour filling into pastry shell over pecans.
10.Bake at 350°F for one hour.
11.Cool.
12.Makes 8 to 10 servings.

Notes:
*** Pecan Pie Imperial serves best and tastes best after all baking heat has cooled out,
allowing filling to set properly. Test this by feeling side or bottom of pan for remaining warmth.
